The AIA UK has a long standing association with the Ben Franklin House and on the 6th October 2008 the museum will be celebrating World Architecture Day.

During the day, the staff will be conducting special tours of the house, designed to give an insight into its historic features and the efforts that have been employed to conserve its Grade I status. The house is the only remaining residence of Benjamin Franklin: scientist, inventor and politician who lived in London for a total of 16 years in the 18th Century.
Tickets cost 3.50; free for children under 14.
Tours are scheduled at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm and 5pm. A sign-up sheet for AIA members will be available at reception.
