Description
Designing and building within a city rich in history requires conservation to be a factor in all projects, whether it is restoring or repurposing historic buildings or knitting new development into a historic fabric. We are thrilled to announce the Surveyor of the Fabric for Canterbury Cathedral, Purcell Architects, will be providing us a detailed look into some of their recent work, the importance of their role for the World Heritage Site, as well as a unique tour of the cathedral itself. The afternoon will include further lectures and tours of local buildings, including Cindy Walters of Walters & Cohen and a tour of Tim Ronalds Architects’ Malthouse Theatre. We hope to see you there!
