New Members
Applicants for Architect, Associate, and International Associate categories of membership should complete both the AIA National application (forms below) and the AIA UK membership form. Find more information on these membership types here.
Applicants for Professional Allied Affiliate and Student Affiliate categories of membership are only required to join AIA UK and complete the AIA UK membership form. Membership in AIA National is optional.
AIA offers up to 18 months of complementary Associate New Graduate membership to recent graduates of a United States accredited school of architecture. This includes membership in the AIA UK, more information here. Please complete the appropriate National application (form below) and the AIA UK membership form.
Membership Transfers
If you are interested in transferring your membership from another local chapter to the AIA UK chapter, please complete the Transfer form and the AIA UK membership form. In your Transfer Form, please request AIA International as your state chapter, and AIA UK as your local chapter.
To hold AIA UK membership in addition to another current chapter membership, you will only need to complete the AIA UK membership form.

As an alternative to the forms above, those looking to join AIA and the AIA UK chapter for the first time as an Architect, Associate (including Associate New Graduate) or International Associate may sign up here.
Existing AIA members falling into the Architect, Associate, and International Associate categories may renew their membership directly with AIA here.
