AIA UK Chapter sponsor Roca kicks off our 2021 Technical Lecture Series with a presentation on the key considerations influencing the design of current and future bathroom spaces.

Jon Bond, Roca’s Head of Projects UK, highlights new technologies and innovations in the bathroom environment, with particular attention to sustainable and versatile solutions. Ground-breaking products and new material advances for hygiene are also explored, along with recent developments in SMART technology. Finally, the presentation offers helpful advice on managing restrictions and challenges in the bathroom, while maintaining a high-quality experience.  A short Q & A will follow.

Speaker Bio

Having worked in the interiors industry for over 10 years, Jon Bond joined world leading bathroom manufacturer Roca in 2014 and is currently Head of Projects. Specialising in the A&D hospitality sector. Jon is responsible for developing bathroom specifications, providing advice on industry regulations and delivering the most up to date information on new innovations in the bathroom space. Now leading the Roca CPD Programme, Jon has presented extensively to architects and interior designers over the past 6 years, and his wealth of knowledge on sustainability and emerging technologies has contributed immensely to the development of the RIBA accredited curriculum. Jon is also a Committee Chair for the NEWH.
