Dear Members and Friends

We invite you to join us for the AIA UK's 2025 Annual General Meeting, to celebrate the year just gone by and to look to the year ahead.

UPDATE: A Herman Miller showroom tour will take place before the meeting - if you would like to see the new space, please arrive at 5.30pm for a 5.45pm start.

A brief business meeting will be held, including:

  • An ‘End of Year / Preview of Next Year’ Presentation

  • The Election of the 2025 Board Officers and Directors,

  • The Approval of the 2024 Annual Accounts.

  • Any Other Business.

A drinks and canapé reception, hosted generously by our sponsor Herman Miller, will be held prior to and after the formal meeting.

Mark Catchlove, Director, MillerKnoll Insight Group will give a short presentation that will earn attendees an estimated 1 LU/ HSW:

The Rise of Relationship-based Work

Rather than creating a series of spaces that are tailored to certain work activities, a relationship-based work model asks us to consider who needs to be supported and the nature of their interactions. This includes everything from interactions that prioritize production, helping move specific work forward, to interactions that prioritize information exchange or personal reflection, helping build culture and a sense of belonging. This session will introduce a new, flexible planning concept to support this range of interactions for individuals, groups, and broader communities at work.

Attendance

Attendance is not absolutely mandatory, although a quorum of members eligible to vote must be achieved. This is your best opportunity to have your say in the running of the Chapter, give feedback to the Board and influence the Chapter’s plans going forward.

Registration is free, but spaces are limited. Sign up today!
