Roca London Gallery invites you for a private view of their brand new exhibition, Sea Change: Flood Resilient Architecture for the 21st Century, in the company of curators, Studio Woode.
Human-induced climate change is now operating at a pace faster than ever initially predicted. Global warming is causing sea levels to rise, and increasing the frequency of extreme weather events, putting cities around the world at risk. As flooding becomes the ‘new normal‘, innovative approaches to flood prevention lie in solutions that go beyond walls and barriers, often working with nature, helping us ‘live with water‘. Sea Change explores projects by leading practices in the fields of flood resilient architecture, envisaging a built environment adapted to a new climate reality.
Admission is free but places are limited.
